A special chamber Israeli concert for a piano trio and a singer

The "Atar" Piano Trio has been active for the last decade and has performed at the important venues of the country. Singer Yeela Avital has been known for her achievements on stage and at the recording studios, as a                soloist with the "arcadia" ensemble and with many orchestras in Israel and abroad.

Together we    created an intimate and warm performance presenting an artistic chamber rendering to   songs considered to be classical-Israeli, in a way that combines the format of a "classical"    concert with ingredients of entertainment...  Some of the songs chosen for this performance   have been presented by us at ceremonies and events around the country, having received  Enthusiastic applause. Others are new items, especially commissioned and written for   this performance.
The arrangements  vary from the need to remain loyal to what is know and loved to the wish to add a new original flavor inspired by the quality of  the traditional  artistic song: meaning that the accompaniment to the song is in dialogue with the text and with the melody and retains an importance of its own.
The program includes original arrangements to Hebrew songs by Argov, Zeira, Yoni Rechter, Y Braun and others together with Israeli chamber music by M. Wolpe, Braun and Eran El-Bar As well as  Jewish music.

The special performance we offer is testimony to Israeli culture and creation at its best and is presented with love to the music on which we were brought up when we were children. As adolescents we were cynical towards it and now we rediscover its beauty .

During the past four years the performance "A light in your window" has been produced many times all over the country and has been warmly applauded by the public.
