In its second decade, the Belzer-Shelley duo displays an unusual level of musical cooperation with a highly varied repertoire in a broad variety of musical styles. Over the years we have played hundreds of recitals on stages in Israel and abroad with a classical, romantic and contemporary repertoire, with an emphasis on Jewish and Israeli music. As a team, we believe in the importance of contributing as musicians to the community and we perform regularly for students, senior citizens and audiences in Israel's periphery. Along with our work in the Atar Piano Trio, we constantly practice performing forgotten pieces out of the inexhaustible literary repository for the ensemble. Outstanding features of the duo's wide repertoire include the music of Joseph Akron, Saminski, Turina, Bloch, Shostakovich, Ben-Haim and others.
