The Israeli chamber project first appeared on the stage as part of a joint project with composers Michael Wolpe and Eran El-Bar in 2003. Later we joined hands with other Israeli composers and together have brought contemporary artistic Israeli music to the stage on several occasions. The concerts usually include meetings with the composers and a dialogue between composer and audience. Performing and listening to contemporary music is a compelling experience for the audience and the musicians as well as a major artistic challenge. The Atar Piano Trio also performs Israeli music in front of classes of music students. This year it was invited to play five trios at the 11th Israeli Music Festival.
