In addition to its traditional piano trio repertoire, the Atar Trio works in cooperation with leading Israeli musicians to explore new interpretations of Jewish, Israeli and world folk music and to revive historical musical pieces. The Atar Trio employs a diverse catalog of musical arrangements and thematic programs to bring this music to a broad audience.
The Atar Trio was established in 1996 in Jerusalem, Israel, by graduates of the Rubin Music Academy. As one of the leading chamber ensembles in Israel, the Atar Trio is regularly invited to perform in Israel, Europe and the United States.
