music education

As musicians active in the community we provide music education in various settings and are active in the following areas, both as an ensemble and each one of us separately: the Atar Piano Trio performs a series of concerts for the Ministry of Education, music programs in schools and enrichment activities for senior citizens. We believe in the importance of learning to listen to music and having direct encounters with live artistic music and the world of classical music.

Besides live performance, we offer background explanations about the works and their composers, discussions with the audience about the music and an introduction to the "behind the scenes" of music: studying works and interpreting them.

Our facilitators include pianist Ofer Shelley and guest lecturers, renowned musicians, composers and performers.
